Translating Survey Metadata Without Changing Data Structure
When researchers say they need a translated survey dataset, they often mean they need translated metadata. They do not want to rename variables, alter codes, or change the structure their scripts depend on.
That distinction is essential. Translation should target the readable layer of the file, not the analytical skeleton underneath it.
